How Shruti Works:-
Drama and Movement Therapy - Uses drama, movement, embodiment, play, imagination, and creative expression to support emotional exploration and self-awareness, especially when experiences are difficult to verbalize.
Trauma-Focused Therapy - Helps people understand and process the impact of trauma, as well as develop safety, emotional regulation, agency, and a connection with their body. This process progresses in concert with a person's sense of safety.
Embodied and Body-Based Approach - Explores the connection between mind and body through movement, sensation, breath, grounding, and embodied awareness.
Queer-Affirmative Therapy - Provides an affirming, non-pathologizing space to explore sexuality, gender, relationships, identity, and experiences of marginalization.
Relational and Person-Centered Approach - Places the therapeutic relationship at the center of the work, emphasizing collaboration, empathy, and curiosity.
Psychodynamic and Exploratory Approach - Explores emotional patterns, relationships, past experiences, and unconscious processes that may impact how people relate to themselves and others.
