At Anvaya Healthcare, our Psychological Assessment services are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Psychological assessment is a process that uses a combination of techniques to help arrive at some consensus about an individual and their behavior, personality, and capabilities. The purposes of conducting psychological assessment include diagnosing mental health conditions, determining cognitive abilities, and guiding treatment planning.
Tests that evaluate intellectual abilities, such as memory capabilities, logical reasoning, and general cognitive performance. Some standard tests include the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC).
Assessments such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), Rorschach Inkblot Test or Thematic Apperception Test are used to evaluate personality structure and psychopathology.
Thorough evaluations that measure complex abilities in different areas of the brain. They are commonly used for things like traumatic brain injury, dementia, or ADHD measurements.
Consisting of observations and reports providing critical information about an individual's behavior for various settings—e.g., autism spectrum disorders or developmental concerns.
This consists of regulatory assessments on emotional state, related to instruments such as the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) etc.

A psychologist meets the client and they will talk about problems with a therapist to reach proper assessments.
These can be administered online and in-person by licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, or other specialists who have received specific training in conducting and evaluating assessments.
Results are professionally scored and interpreted by licensed psychologists to ensure results remain valid and reliable. It is followed by a Feedback Session—which describes the results to clients and explains their implications.
